Frost & Field started as a small, local line of freeze-dried treats built on a simple idea: pets deserve real food, honestly labeled, made with care.

Today we're the next chapter of that story. Same commitment to real, whole-food ingredients. A broader lineup of treats and toppers for dogs and cats. And a family-owned Midwest team that hand-cuts our proteins from USDA-inspected sources and freeze-dries them in our own Wales, Wisconsin facility.

Our roots

Frost & Field grew from a local Wisconsin-based freeze-dried treat brand founded on the belief that pet treats can be nutritious and enjoyable. That belief runs through everything we make.

A small Midwest team of people who care about pet food. Freeze-dry specialists, a full-time food safety lead, fulfillment folks, and everyone in between. Every bag we ship went through hands that know the product.

  • How we freeze-dry

    Freeze-drying is what makes Frost & Field, well, Frost & Field. It gently removes moisture from real food at low temperature, holding onto natural flavor, aroma, and nutrition. No cooking. No preservatives. No fillers or extracts. Just the ingredient, shelf-stable and ready to feed.

    We work in small batches at our Wales, Wisconsin facility, which means we know each run and can trace what went into it.

  • Food safety

    We source ingredients to the same standards you'd expect from your own grocery store, and we handle them with the care of a facility that takes food safety seriously. Our facility is FDA-registered, and we're actively pursuing SQF (Safe Quality Food) certification, one of the most rigorous food safety programs globally.
